Performances are August 16th & August 17th at The Villagers Theater

Explore the many aspects of theatre through classes, creative games, workshops and rehearsals in acting, dance, music and stagecraft! Performers will learn in both a classroom setting and work through the full musical production process. Each performer will learn skills throughout production rehearsals which culminates in live performances on stage!

Please come ready to learn a dance combination at 2pm and then stay for quick individual singing auditions.
​Please prepare to sing 16-32 bars of a song (of your choosing) that best showcases your comedic ability and/or vocal range!
FYI: Auditions are an important part of the overall learning experience for each performer and to help our teachers cast the performers. It is not a condition of enrollment- EVERYONE who signs will automatically get a part!

Intro to Acting I:
​Ages 6-8

An introductory class for students to learn the who, what, when, where & why. Young actors begin to work the basics of improvisation as well as elementary scene exploration. 

Intro to Acting II:
​Ages 8-10

An introductory class for students to learn the who, what, when, where & why. Young actors begin to work the basics of improvisation as well as elementary scene exploration.

​A brief introduction to monologue work begins and the young actors deepen their memorization techniques. 

Acting Essentials I:
Ages 10-13

TUESDAYS
7:15pm-8:15pm

Students will learn how to approach a monologue and dive into scene work. We will break down the fundamentals of auditioning and how to broaden your toolbox while sharpening your skills. 

Acting Essentials II:
​Ages 14-18

TUESDAYS

Students will build on the fundamentals of course I while deepening their character work and developing the actor's voice and physicality. Students will explore more advanced acting techniques and text.

Triple Threat Tech I:
Ages 10-13

SATURDAYS

Students bring together the disciplines of acting, singing and dancing. Scene to song exploration and Broadway movement/dance repertoire, make this class a musical theatre lovers dream! 

Triple Threat Tech II:
Ages 14-18

Building on the fundamentals presented in course 1. Students bring together the disciplines of acting, singing and dancing. Scene to song exploration and Broadway movement/dance repertoire, make this class a musical theatre lovers dream!

​The season will culminate in a Spring Showcase Performance for friends and family on ​Saturday March 22, 2025.
